On 24th April in the afternoon, my supervisor invited me with her and the designers, to visit a shop that made books like our predecessors. This shop is located near Manchester.Basically, the shop was more or less like a museum. The owners showed different machines and how to use them. After visiting the different parts of the shop, we were invited to drink a coffee/tea with some cookies in their living room. It was a beautiful way to end the day.
Jon - you were very helpful at helping to establish this tradition when we moved into our new office. You have done what others here probably would not, and that is to encourage everyone to come along and have the opportunity to talk to each other as they don't have the chance to do that all the time while we are in work.
Thansk for that - I hope that you have started a good thing, and got a few more people together and talking to each other
